Persona (2019) - Oil on Canvas
In Juncadella’s first painting, Persona, he explores the oil on canvas medium. He encountered painting at a stagnant point of his life, and it immediately became his obsession. In this painting he discovers, as an artist, what he likes to paint, experimenting with different brush strokes, contrasts, and colors. The two sides of the painting show his experimental styles clashing or melding together, creating one Persona.
